Creating an account and signing in

For now Przepisnik is invite-only. Your account is created when someone invites you to their household or shares a recipe with you by entering your email address. You then get a message with an access code for your first sign-in.

First sign-in

1. Open the app on your phone, or my.przepisnik.app in your browser.
2. Under the sign-in form, tap First time here? First login.
3. Enter the Email the invitation was sent to and the Access code from the message. Tap Continue.
4. On the Set your password screen, enter a New password (at least 8 characters) and tap Create account.

If you see “This code has expired”, ask whoever invited you for a new code. After a few wrong attempts the code stops working for the same reason.

Finally, Przepisnik asks a few starter questions: what brings you here, which look you prefer and which categories to create. You can change the look and the categories later in settings.

Signing in later

On the sign-in screen enter your Email and Password, then tap Sign in. Your phone remembers the session, so you usually don’t need to sign in every time you open the app.

Forgot your password?

1. On the sign-in screen tap Forgot your password?.
2. Enter your account’s email address and tap Send link.
3. Open the message (check your spam folder too) and set a new password.

You can also change your password once signed in: on your phone, tap your name at the top of the More tab, then Change password; in the browser, open Settings → Profile.
