Planning the week

How to add a meal to the plan, move it to another day, set portions and copy last week.

The Meal planner shows the week day by day. On the phone open it from the bottom bar or from More → Meal planner; in the browser, from the side menu.

Adding a meal

  1. Use Previous week / Next week to pick a week (This week brings you back to the current one).
  2. Next to a day, tap the empty meal, e.g. + Lunch.
  3. Search for a recipe and tap it — it lands on that day.

Add another meal time (breakfast, dinner, a snack) with Add another meal next to the day. Which meal every day always shows is set in Appearance → Meal planner → Main meal of the day.

You can also add a recipe from its own page: in the browser the Add to plan button in the recipe header, on the phone ⋮ → Add to plan. You then pick the day.

Portions and who eats

Tap a meal in the plan to open its details:

  • Cook — how much of the recipe you cook, e.g. a single or a double batch,
  • Eat on — which days; pick the last day on the week strip,
  • the sentence underneath sums up the portions, the number of people and how many days it lasts.

Changes save straight away. On the Family plan you also choose Who eats it — portions are worked out for the selected household members.

Moving meals

  • On the phone, hold the ⋮⋮ handle and drag the meal, or choose Move to… in its details.
  • In the browser, drag the meal with the mouse (from the keyboard: space picks it up, the arrows move it, Enter drops it).

If the target day already has that meal, you choose Swap places or Add alongside.

An empty week

When a week is empty you’ll see Copy previous week — bring last week’s plan over in one go.

Past days fold away on their own, and you remove a meal in its details with Remove from plan.
